"I love chicken livers!"
"Really? They are okay but chicken hearts are the best. You can't find them anymore though."
"I love chicken livers."
"I don't know why they don't leave the hearts in the chickens anymore. They are soooo good."
"Hearts are good too but livers are the best. I can't eat chicken livers anymore because of the uric acid but if this chair was made out of chicken livers I could it all up."

Are these children or big Southern women?
i love it! you and your everyday events that you somehow end up being a part of that are so awkward and funny make me laugh so hard! :)
Tara- this conversation was between a man close to sixty who loved liver and a lady in her early thirties that thinks hearts rock.
I'm glad you are making plans for the future, but I'm really going to miss these work stories when you don't have them anymore.
You should have asked how to cook the chicken heart - talk about culinary experience! ;)
Well in that case, this conversation seems completely ridiculous.
I miss hearing these stories in person...hope life is good at home. Be back soon!
This week I watched a friend pick out an eyeball from a fried fish and eat it. Call me a vegetarian, but there's just something slightly barbaric to me about eating livers and hearts and eyeballs and...animals...I just don't get it. But an awesome story--loved the verbatim conversation.
