1. I bought a pattern to sew footie pajamas! The only one available was a halloween costume pattern that also gives instructions for a tail, hood and ears. I haven't started any of the sewing yet only the fun dreaming and so my attitude is still positive, but I know that following a pattern is going to be such brain exercise. There are some marvelous fleece fabrics available and I can't wait to turn my friends into a onesie army. I don't know how long my patience will last, but I have high hopes for this project.
2. Speaking of workouts - my clogging class is putting on a show! It is not until the end of August, but I already have the costume and know my part. Peer pressure is such a powerful thing and I signed up for Ida Red, possibly one of the fastest songs we have learned. I am actually still trying to master it but I have till August, right? The dress I have for the program is a lovely tomato red with plenty of ruffles and polka dots. I get entertained at the very thought of how entertaining it is going to be.
3. I am going back to school! The dream is becoming reality and I don't quite know what to think. I am happy but there are lots of other change-related emotions damming up my joy, like doubt, fear, relief and paranoia. After all these months, nay, years of deliberating I am going to get a landscape design technician certificate. I think it will compliment my massage certificate quite nicely and will look great hanging next to my clogging certificate. I don't know where these classes will lead me because I know this will not be the last stop, but I am content in my decision. Does everyone have such marvelous friends that throw dinner parties and bake cakes when "big" decisions are made? Probably not but it sure made my weekend extra special.

i miss you friend :)
Oh boy. Do you remember when all of us kids wore those yellow fuzzy onesies for a VERY long time? Funny you write about this... When I was at Goodwill last week, there was a onsie and I almost bought it for you... but it would only fit you if it were stuffed with pillows. And I thought $6 was ridiculous for a Goodwill onesie.
Good for you! I'm glad you have made a decision and are going for it.
The pajamas sound amazing, and you must let us know when the clogging performance is.
A ONESIE ARMY IS THE BEST IDEA EVER!!! (Good thing I already have a onsie, thanks nick, just in case you get sick of making them before you get to me. Just cross me off your list) =)
ELISA!!! This is a WONDERFUL post! Couple things... PLEASE make me part of this army, I'll be really good at it. Promise. Also, I want SO BADLY to see you in all your clogging goodness. Private show when I get back? And THREE.. I AM SO PROUD OF YOU!!!!!!! Maybe we should talk on the phone soon so I can hear more about these updates. I need to hear updates from Graves too so maybe we can speaker phone it sometime this week. Miss you friend!
I was in a fancy flower garden the other day, and I thought to myself, "Elisa would be awesome at creating an awesome flower garden." Congratulations on the decision.
I hope it's cold where ever I go next because I want a super cool onesie! Can I help make it?!
I'm very glad we could hang out this last weekend and compare cold norway pictures. Thanks for being so awesome!
I celebrate you! I celebrate with you!
Look what a mere five months can do! Ida Red, a real clogging costume (I am super jealous), and landscaping school. At this rate, in another five months you'll be engaged. :)
