The sun was barely warm enough to keep up with the cool air but we reveled in it. Turning our faces to it with the blanket spread across us.
Little brother kindly fetched the freshly thrifted (1.00!) binoculars from the shelf inside and we commenced a study of the woodpecker pounding at the tree above us.
It was a day of rest.

Elisa! I love your blog. I just took some time to go back through some of your old posts and there's just so much appreciation inside of you--so much quality living too. Hope you are doing well! We were at a book store yesterday and all we could do was go through books and determine which would make good book lamps. :) Emily
