National Public Radio has a series of book recommendations and this is my own book recommendation. I make an effort to not use NPR speak in daily living but just for full disclosure All Things Considered was the inspiration.
You must read this: Hinds' Feet on High Places by Hannah Hurnard.
I had never heard of the book until recently when a patient at work recommended it. I really love a good allegory and I am not sure how this one slipped by me for all these years. I enjoy this book since I feel like I can really relate because how could you not relate to someone named Much-Afraid. Fear has a tight grip on my life and this book was a good lesson in, as the book put it, "the journey each of us must take before we can live in High Places"
The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like Hinds' Feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine High Places. Habakkuk 3:19

My mom would be really excited to read your review. I think I might read it to her.
I'm glad you read that book! It's amazing! And also because you were able to use her name in scattegories last night. lol
