Sailing made an ordinary Wednesday feel decadent. Look at all that peace and sparkling water .

Their first year of Adventures! You know they have a new song now?! I kept trying to sing the now obsolete song to my sisters and all I got was a blank looks. Oh, age! From whence did you come? There was ice cream and other such wonders at home. It was good besides all the car shopping and subsequent car salesman nightmares.

We three spent hours in the recliner reading National Geographics. I don't know if I can fully express how much it warms my heart to see the interest they take in my favorite pastime. Even as toddlers they loved it. We would study the magazines together, repeating our favorites and treasuring the new ones. The only thing that has changed is that we don't fit in the chair as well anymore.

My brother is a champion! He came in seventh overall at a twelve mile trail race. Not that placement matters...If it did I would be too discouraged to run. These kids had fun running though and the cowbells made it fun to cheer. I wish I could run without training like he did but then I wouldn't be learning these lessons of dedication and perseverance. Something like that. Really though, I was so proud of these kids. Not just for their athleticism but they had a joy that was infectious to those around them.

School is tough this quarter but not tougher than me. I take pictures and clippings for my leaf collection book every week. If you say it enough, Metasequioa glyptostroboides rolls off the tongue rather nicely.

how many times can I say that you are the coolest before you don't believe me anymore? I hope never because I am going to be saying it forever...just keep believing!

You're a good writer Lis (I haven't figured out how to spell your name the way I say it anymore so that's going to have to do. Can you hear it?).

I like that sailing picture a lot.

And like has been mentioned, you write better than most bloggers so pretty much anything you write is gonna be good. Also, we (I) read this to keep up with whats going on with you... so it doesn't really matter if its self absorbed, though I completely get where you're coming from. I have to stop myself a lot of the time simply because very few will want to know how i feel about that particular subject, et cetera.

And whats this of a new adventurers song?

I love all of these pictures. I think I'm about due to steal your pictures again.

Sometime you'll have to explain your clever title to me.
