My dream in clogging has been to dance at Prater's Mill. I don't know that anyone in our clogging class thinks it is all that special but for me it seems so epic. I started clogging because of watching the dancers at Prater's Mill and it has been a slow two years going from spectator to performer. I made it(!) and Sunday was the big day. I changed out my shoe laces from boring white to red and donned the sparkly vest.
I was going to put up some clips from when Andrea and I first began for comparison but it is just too painful. Here is a look at the most recent video though. Disclaimer: This video that you are about to see is record of the third time I have ever done this dance. Ever. I don't know it that well- hence the hesitations and eyes on the teacher. I usually don't take these kinds of risks but when dancing at Prater's Mill you just gotta go all out. (I will work on getting a better quality video put up later)
The tattoos say "Recycle 4 Georgia" in case you are inspired by this look.
A big thanks to all my super supportive friends and Andrea who had the inspiration to clog and the patience to practice stomping all those evenings with such an unrhythmic person as I.

we look so hardcore with our tats. but not quite as hardcore as the girl on the left with all her sequins.
YEAH!!! I love it! We are trying to convince Andrea to put on a show for us out here. Maybe you could come visit and perform with her!!!
Yeah, I'm not putting on a show by myself. I am really proud of you, Elisa! You are my hero! Thank you for fulfilling one of my life dreams! I'm glad it became yours too. You were a brave one to start something that random, but I am very thankful for that awesome birthday gift two years ago.
You're the coolest person ever.
You have arrived! But I hope you keep going!
