I love how my mom handled six barf prone kids with such grace. Actually, she still handles it well.
I love that she clips out interesting bits from my hometown newspaper and mails them to me along with the latest artwork from my sisters.
I love the way she stomps her feet and bends her knees when dancing with the radio.
I love how she cares for others and makes people feel welcome.
I love the ease with which she bakes five pies, cinnamon rolls and three meals in a day and doesn't blink an eye.
I love that she understands melancholy moods and the sorrow of a day gone bad.
I love the way she supports my dads ideas of fun whether that be primitive camping on the beach or 400 tomato plants in the garden, which is only enough to can.
I love that even when the adventure is a lot of work she embraces it.
Thanks mom, for making our family what it is.
